Purepoint Uranium Group Inc: Begins Winter Drill Program at Turnor Lake

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE: PTU) is pleased to announce the commencement of their diamond drill program at their 100% owned Turnor Lake project located in the Athabasca Basin. The company has planned 4,000 metres of diamond drilling prior to spring break-up in April of this year.

- Holes completed by Purepoint south of the Quetzal Zone have outlined uranium-rich alteration similar in nature to those that surround many of the known ore deposits hosted in the Athabasca Basin;During a question and answer session, Tarantino is asked about these criticisms. "What they are talking about is so not my movie, " he says. "They are taking the synopsis and not looking any further. Kurt Russell kills women with his car. That is what the f***ing movie's about, but is that the end of the story? No." In a twisted way he's pleased by the semi-stushie.- The Turnor Lake conductors wrap around the Kelsey Dome, the same structural feature associated with neighboring high grade uranium showings (including Cameco's La Rocque Deposit which encountered grades up to 33.9% U3O8 over 5.5 m);"Great to be back here!" he yells. "Has it really been 15 years?" He first came to the GFT as a 29-year-old in 1992 to attend a screening of his visceral debut Reservoir Dogs, which established his reputation as the enfant terrible of Hollywood, the film nerd who hauled arthouse cinema into the mainstream."Shame on you!" he yells back. "You haven't even seen the movie!"- Diamond drilling in the winter of 2008 will concentrate on new geophysics completed on the Quetzal Zone and Serin Conductor;A small crowd of feminist protesters are standing outside the cinema entrance, being watched by a handful of police. "Shame! Shame!" they chant when Tarantino steps down on to the red carpet. He's 44 now, an enfant no longer, but still rather terrible. Death Proof has attracted its share of controversy. Feminist groups have condemned the film, claiming it eroticises violence against women.Contacts: Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. Chris Frostad President and CEO (416) 603-8368 Website: www.purepoint.caHe is 21 and saw his first Tarantino picture, Reservoir Dogs, when he was 16. "I asked Tarantino if he would ever consider remaking The Magnificent Seven, " he says. "I think that would be awesome. This is fascinating because Tarantino is generally regarded as a male-oriented film-maker, yet Death Proof is an attempt to convey authentic female voices. The Serin conductor is interpreted to be the northeastern extension of the conductor which hosts Cameco's La Rocque showing. The Serin conductor was first identified by Purepoint during a 2005 ground EM survey. Results from EM surveys suggest the conductor is offset (dislocated) by approximately 150 metres at the same location that a refraction seismic survey, conducted by Saskatchewan Energy and Mines (SEM) in 1984, reflects a significant down drop in the basement topography. The MacArthur River Deposit, one of the world's largest uranium mines, was formed at the site of a similar basement step-fault. Three drill holes are planned for this target area. These black girls over here, these Korean girls over here, these richer society girls over here, and I'm just one of the group." He makes chopping motions to indicate the dividing lines between his girlfriends. Apparently, it isn't uncommon for a group of women to turn up at his door, desperate to watch American Idol. "I'm like one of the girls, " he says. "I have a lot of male friends, but I don't really have a posse of male friends. My male friendships are more one-on-one. These women have actually meant a lot to me over the last few years, and without me consciously trying, they all turned up in the screenplay. It's quite touching. This is my loveletter- slash-poison-pen letter to them." Tarantino says he has an instinctual trust of women, which is why he gets on so well by them. The Turnor Lake ProjectExcited girls hug their stoic boyfriends. One young man gazes in awe at the hand which shook Tarantino's as if it were now a religious relic, not quite part of his body. "I'll never wash it, " he vows. His film was originally part of the 191-minute Grindhouse, a double bill with Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror. However, Grindhouse flopped at the US box office earlier this year Tarantino's first commercial failure and so Death Proof has been cut from the wreckage and will be released as a stand-alone feature.- A seismic survey conducted over the Serin Conductor indicates it is cut by a significant step-fault. Similar faults elsewhere in the Basin have provided structural traps that have localized uranium bearing hydrothermal fluids and resulted in the formation of ore bodies.About PurepointTHE TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE HAS NOT REVIEWED AND DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ADEQUACY OR ACCURACY OF THIS RELEASE.- The Quetzal Zone is comprised of a complex series of untested, electromagnetic conductors interpreted to represent faulted graphitic rocks of a nature typically associated with uranium deposits in the Athabasca Basin.Quetzal ZoneInside, Tarantino sits at a table and signs DVDs, screenplays, posters and soundtracks. Music from his films plays on the PA and behind him there's a huge picture of Uma Thurman as Mia in Pulp Fiction.
